Impfungen
Wenn Sie von Europa aus anreisen, brauchen Sie keine weiteren Impfungen außer den Standardimpfungen.
Sollten Sie aber aus Afrika anreisen, benötigen Sie Impfungen gegen Hepatitis A und B und Gelbfieber.

Einreise von Minderjährigen ohne Eltern oder nur mit einem Elternteil
Benötigt wird eine formlose Einverständniserklärung des/der nicht mitreisenden Erziehungsberechtigten bzw. falls der / die Minderjährige allein einreist sowie eine Kopie der Datenseite des Personalausweises bzw. des Passes von beiden. Aus der Einverständniserklärung sollte hervorgehen, dass die Erziehungsberechtigten mit der Auslandsreise einverstanden sind.
Folgender Inhalt ist erforderlich:
- Personalien des Alleinreisenden
- Personalien und Erreichbarkeit der Erziehungsberechtigten
- Reiseroute und Flugnummer
- Personalien der Begleitperson(en)
Diese Einverständniserklärung benötigt eine Unterschriftsbeglaubigung (durch Notar, Rathaus), eine Apostille des Landgerichts Ihres Bundeslandes und muss ins Portugiesische (durch vereidigten Übersetzer) übersetzt werden (nicht nötigt, wenn eine internationale Einverständniserklärung vorliegt).
Zika Virus
Laut WHO (Weltgesundheitsorganisation) gibt es keine Einschränkung für die Einreise nach Cabo Verde. Bezüglich der allgemeinen Schutzmaßnahmen besuchen Sie die Internetseite der WHO.
Im Falle einer Schwangerschaft oder einer geplanten Schwangerschaft wird ein vorheriger Besuch beim Frauenarzt empfohlen.

Vaccines
If you are travelling to Cabo Verde from Europe, you won´t need any special vaccine besides the regular ones.
However, if you are starting your journey in Afrika, you will also need vaccines against Hepatitis A and B, as well as Yellow Fever.
Minors travelling alone or accompanied by only one of the parents
It is required to have an informal written declaration from the parent or legal guardian (or both parents/legal guardians, in case the minor travels alone) as well as a copy of their Identification Document.
In this document should be stated that he/she agrees with the fact that the minor is leaving the country.
It should also contain:
- personal data of the minor
- personal data and contact of the parents/legal guardians
- travel itinerary and flightdata
- personal data of the escort
The signature will need a notorial confirmation and the document must be then sealed with an Apostille of the competent Landgericht (regional court).
A translation of the whole document into Portuguese (by a sworn translator) is also requested. An international consent authorization won´t need a translation.
Zika Virus
According to the WHO (World Health Organization), there are no limitations concerning the Zika virus. The general pracautions are recommended. Visit the WHO website for further informations.
In case of pregnancy or an intended pregnancy, an appointment with your doctor is recommended.
