The
visa application can be done at the Embassy in Berlin or by a
Honorary consulate (see the list of Honorary consulates here).
The
Nationalities of ECOWAS ( CEDEAO ) don't need a visa ( Guinea-Bissau,
Senegal, Gambia, Cóte d'Ivoire, Guinea-Conacri, Sierra Leone,
Liberia, Ghana, Burkina Faso, Niger, Nigeria, Mali, Benin, Togo) and
Southafrica.
All
other nationalities need a visa ( German citizens and foreign
citizens ).
Visa
categories:
For
non married parent, only 1 parent +children ( 57,- euro ); the other
partner paies 45,- euro. The family visa is valid for 3 months for 1
entry.
The
stay in Cabo Verde ist limited to maximum 3 months from entry.

Family
multiple entries visa: only
for married persons with minor children, 110,- euro together
(transit or tourist)
For
non married parents, only 1 parent +children ( 110,- euro ); the
other partner paies 87,- euro.
the
family multiple entries visa is valid 2 or 3 years if the passport
is also valid for this time.
The
stay in Cabo Verde ist limited to maximum 3 months from entry.
After this time you have to leave the country.
The
1. entry should be done during the 6 months after issuance of the
visa.
As
the visa validity is only 6 months from issuance, the application
shouldn't be too early.

Collective visa: valid
as from 5 persons.
It is necessary to send the list of
the passagers with all informations of the passport ( name, surname,
number of the passport, date of issue etc. ), 1 copy of the
passport with the foto, the visa application formular fulfilled, 1
foto, the data of the flight ( arrival and departure, copy of
confirmation of the flight ), the bank data and titular of the
account, ( 34,- euro per person ).
The collective visa only is valid
by arrival and departure of the passagers together.
It is valid for only 1 entrance.
The stay in Cabo Verde ist limited
to maximum 3 months from entry.

Individual simple visa:
for single, married people without children, divorced people or
widower, major children ( 45,- euro/person ); (Transit or tourist )
The

entries visa: for
single, married people without children, divorced people or widower,
major children (87,- euro/person).
The individual simple multiple
entries visa is valid for 2 or 3 years when the passport is still
valid.

After this time you have to leave the country.
Visa
on arrival:
The
„visa on
arrival „ in
Cabo Verde at the airport is possible for countries that do not have
any embassy or consulate of Cabo Verde in their country.
Otherwise you should ask your airline
if you can travel from Germany without visa.
We
recommand to apply for the visa before
traveling
because it can happen that the passager won't be allowed to take off.
The
visa fees on
arrival
doesn't belong to the competence of the Embassy in Berlin but to
the customs at the airport , so it cannot be given any information.
We
recommand to send the documents via registered
mail to
back up the documents at the post office.
For
foreign countries:
The traveler has to organize the
pick up of the passport.
Please don't forget to send an
envelop to send you back the passport stamped with the taxes of the
post office from Germany: the taxes for the returning passport can be
paied together with the visa fees.

time of issuance is about 3-5 working days
aditionnaly to the deadline of the post office.
Attention:
From 01.01.2016 the refund of the
paid visa will be only guaranted after deduction of the remittance
and of the processing effort costs.
